Monique is survived by her husband, Michael and son, Luciano, brother Byron Hayes, father Ervin Hayes, sister La-Sasha, Aunt Kim, Uncles William and Mark, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom she loved abundantly and held deeply in her heart.

Monique will be severely missed by all who knew her. Shortly before her passing she celebrated her 5-year anniversary with LabCorp, an achievement that meant the world to her. Monique loved crocs, and she had amassed an interesting collection, earning her the title of "Croc Queen." Her patients and coworkers always looked forward to seeing which pair she was wearing. She looked forward to going to work each day where she shared her compassion and kindness, putting a smile on the faces of everyone she encountered. After graduation, Monique became a full-time phlebotomist for LabCorp, where she truly excelled and was beloved by all her patients.

At the age of 40, however, she decided to return to school, and there discovered her true passion: phlebotomy. She went on to work at Wawa, Dunkin Donuts, and Burger King, to name a few. She held many jobs throughout her life, beginning with McDonalds at the young age of 15, where she worked for several years. Known to all for her kindness and caring, Monique was also admired for her supreme dedication, loyalty, and work ethic. Monique touched the hearts of countless family members, friends, and coworkers as well, enhancing the lives of anyone who had the privilege to meet her.

She was his number one fan at home and on the court. Alongside her husband, she encouraged and supported her son, Luciano, throughout his education and sports. She and her husband lived in San Diego, CA for just over 2 years before returning to the South Jersey area to raise their beloved son, Luciano, and to be near family and friends. It is there that she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Michael, who she married in 1998. She spent her formative years in Ocean City, attending all three public schools in town and graduated from OCHS in 1996. Monique Lubrano, 45, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023.Ī devoted wife and mother, Monique was born in Somers Point, NJ.
